Lettings Manager

One Property Recruitment have been instructed on a new position for an experienced AST Property Manager to transition into a Lettings Manager, establishing and growing a lettings department for our client. Our client is well established within block management and are now looking to open a new division to the business with a number of blocks already transferring over to their management. As the head of the department, you will work closely with the directors in terms of strategy and key growth areas. The core duties of the position are as follows:

• Recruiting and leading a team
• Tendering for new business
• Ensuring the portfolio is compliant with rental regulations
• Responsible for contract management
• Building effective relationships with clients

The successful candidate will be confident in setting up department processes, pitching for new business as well as recruiting and growing the team. Prior experience of where you have grown a department and how you have positively impacted a business in a position of responsibility will be a key factor to our client. The lettings are currently outsourced, however as this position grows, it will be a division that comes in house and under your management. I'm looking for someone with the following attributes:

• Excellent knowledge of AST management
• Experience of leading and managing teams
• Sound business acumen
• Experience within business development
• Conscientious and ambitious

Salary GBP35,000-GBP45,000 plus competitive comission structure
