Group Financial Accountant

Based: Blackburn, East Lancashire area

Salary: up to GBP45k dependent on experience, excellent opportunities and benefits

Our client is a global manufacturing business with a number of sites/subsidiaries across the world. Market leaders in their field, they manufacture and supply across various industries and have experienced growth over the last few years organically and through acquisitions. This role will report directly to the Group Finance Director, extremely hands on position with the opportunity to learn and develop.

Role:

• Assisting Group Finance Director with reporting and acquisitions
• Preparing monthly consolidated group management accounts
• Preparing annual audited financial statements, consolidating across the group
• Preparing annual group budget alongside Group Finance Director
• Dealing with group treasury, UK & oversees tax and insurances
• Assisting Group Finance Director with further acquisitions and divestments
• Preparing reports for Group board, ensuring analysis completed
• Assisting with ad-hoc finance projects throughout the year

Experience:

• ACA or ACCA qualified candidate with a background in practice
• First or second time practice mover with experience in Audit
• Technically strong with financial reporting, audit, tax and accounts
• Strong IT and Excel skills
• Keen to progress and develop further
