Midday Assistant - Outstanding Primary School - Hackney
An outstanding primary school in the vibrant East London borough of Hackney are looking to appoint a Midday Assistant, to work 5 days per week from 12:00pm - 1:30pm. This is a long term opportunity at least for the rest of the academic year with the scope to join the school a permanent basis. We have worked with the school for 3 years and have a close working relationship with them, all staff we place stay because they love it so much!
You will be responsible for supporting the children's play time, ensuring all children are safe. You will not be responsible for lunch time as this is covered by the schools teaching assistants.
The school is in a super central location, has a fantastic community feel and is graded Outstanding by Ofsted. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Midday Assistant previously and be first aid trained.

Role:
?? Midday Assistant
?? Working 5 days per week - 12:00pm till 1:30pm
?? Long term, for the rest of the academic year as a minimum (scope to go permanent)
?? GBP9 - GBP10 per hour
?? Playtime support only, no lunchtime supervision
Person:
?? Previous experience as a Midday Assistant / Midday Leader - Essential
?? First Aid Trained - Essential
?? A can do attitude
?? Must be able to be firm but fair with the children and understand behaviour management
?? Want to be part of the schools 'family'
