Location: Permanent Home working - maybe required to travel to H/O Castle Donington occasionally for any ad hoc training required or team building events

The Role: Unlike other call centres, our client is not a sales focused environment and are completely focused on the customer journey. They deal with customers that are experiencing a home emergency on behalf of well-known insurers.

It would be your role to ensure that this experience is a smooth and as efficient as possible and to help support them during a difficult time but offering exceptional customer service.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Receive Home Emergency Claims via telephone, Email or specific client portals
  • Deploy a Supplier from the company's network to each claim within the required Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Follow through every claim so that the customer only has to make one phone call into the company
  • Handle and try to resolve any complaint at the first point of notification

You will receive 2 weeks of in-house training upon joining to support you to work from home remotely via telephone calls, MS teams meetings etc

Internally the role is known as an Incident Manager

Shifts/Working Hours:

  • 3-day Fri/Sat/Mon split shifts (27 hours per week - 9 am to 12:30 pm, plus 3:30 pm to 9 pm)
  • 3-day Fri/Sun/Mon split shifts (27 hours per week - 9 am to 12:30 pm, plus 3:30 pm to 9 pm)

Additional hours may become available in busy periods

Holiday Entitlement: 28 days inc. Bank holidays plus 1 day after 12 months' continuous services, up to 33 days max. (pro-rata to the hours you work)

Salary: Starting GBP18,250 pa increasing to GBP18,500 pa on successful completion of probation (6 months), increasing again to GBP19,000 pa on completing 12 months' service (these salaries will be pro-rata to the hours you work)

You will be required to complete a Homeworking Checklist and Home Working Policy upon joining the Team to ensure you can work comfortably and safely from your home.
