CMA Recruitment Group is currently representing a fast growing, highly regarded services business in Eastleigh with their search for a Management Accountant.
This role is a newly created permanent position due to growth and will support the continuing development of the management accounting service within the organisation, specifically business partnering with department heads to improve financial performance through better understanding of management information. What will the role involve?
- Partner with operational heads of department to deliver accurate and timely forecasts of financial performance;
- Provide financial guidance and commercial challenges to the Operational management team;
- Produce accurate and timely reporting on a monthly basis;
- Ensure accurate representation of monthly P&L performance;
- Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation;
- Review reported performance against targets, challenge managers to produce and deliver action plans to improve the performance and ensure everyone understands and can explain the key drivers of variances;
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships across the business to influence financial performance;
- Review forecast against Business Plan and previous forecast targets, and ensure key drivers of variances are clearly understood;
- Work with finance, operational and transformation teams to streamlining existing processes, designing new reports and processes.
Suitable Candidate:
- Qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA);
- Previous accounting experience within a medium-large organisation;
- Able to use initiative (and advice of others) to identify new solutions;
- Ability to manage own workload and priorities effectively;
- Ability to influence decision making process through clear presentation of financials;
- Solid Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables;

- This role will be eligible for an annual bonus of up to 15% of the annual salary;
- Predominantly home working with occasional days in the office;
