A well-established local business is looking to engage with an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their team to process the payroll for 300 employees. This business offers a generous benefits package alongside the competitive salary. In these uncertain times this business has continued to grow.

The Role:

• Processing payroll monthly for circa 300 staff members
• Setting up new starters and leavers
• Inputting bonuses, shift premiums, overtime, SSP, SMP and SPP
• Bacs reports prepared
• Preparing payments to pensions and HMRC
• Tax year end process preparation.

Candidate Expectations:

• Previous payroll experience is essential
• Confident in using Sage Payroll
• Extensive knowledge of the end to end payroll and the ability to manually calculate
• Confident in problem solving
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
