Lettings Manager - Faringdon - GBP25k basic + Commission

My client is an award winning, leading Lettings and Estate Agency brand who have several offices in the South West area. They have been established for many years and have a very high reputation in the area for dealing with a range of property services including residential sales and lettings, land and new homes and auctions. They are looking for an experienced Lettings Manager for their branch in Faringdon where you will be responsible for establishing and building a new and exciting lettings business.

Alongside Lettings experience you will need the ability to win business, a proven business development experience and an in-depth understanding of lettings and property management legistlation and procesess. You will need to be pro-active, ambitious and take full responsibility of driving the business forward. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for fee earning whilst expanding the Faringdon department in order to become one of the most successful lettings business across Oxfordshire in what is an extremely competitive market.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who must have proven experience and a natural ability to communicate with a diverse range of landlords (private and corporate), tenants and colleagues. A track record of managing and expanding a residential lettings business is essential for this role. Strong decision-making, business development and business winning skills are vital in making a success of this role.

Hours of work: 8.45am-5.30pm Monday to Friday plus 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.45am-4.00pm (with a day off in lieu of working a Saturday)

Essential Skills for the Lettings Manager Role:

• Any cold start experience would be highly beneficial
• Proven track record in winning new Lettings business
• Strong knowledge of current lettings legislation
• Have local area knowledge
• ARLA/NFoPP qualification would be advantageous
• Full UK driving licence and own car
