Retail Merchandiser

Retail Merchandiser required for a permanent position in Quedgeley working with the Sales and Shop teams for a well-known retailer on a full time basis.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar Merchandiser role and be organised with excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 pa dependent on experience.

Key duties of the Retail Merchandiser include:

• Update the campaign forecast,
• Working with the agreed sub-dept sales
• Produce a purchasing plan
• Report weekly retail performance against forecast
• Suggest a list of featured products for each campaign with the retail team.
• Test different locations/POS/SEL
• Promote the launch of new products

The ideal candidate will have the following experience / characteristics:

• A proven track record in a merchandising position.
• The ability to work autonomously and to implement and develop their own merchandising strategies.
• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills internally and externally(essential)
• Fully competent with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook.
