Paraplanning Manager

NJR Recruitment is currently exclusively working on a fantastic opportunity for experienced Paraplanner to join a highly reputable Financial Planning organisation based in the Halifax area

The main purpose of your role will be to prepare written advice and provide technical research services to a team of Financial Planners. You will ensure that the preparation of advice for clients (both internal and external) is of the highest quality and delivered in an efficient manner; whilst mitigating any risks to the business and assisting with the achievement of business targets. In addition, you will be directly managing a small team of paraplanners, encouraging and developing them whilst being the go to person for more complex queries

Responsibilities:

• Produce client suitability reports confirming new recommendations
• Obtain accurate quotations, key features and applications for Advisers' meetings with clients
• Analyse clients' circumstances, needs and objectives
• Provide research on all relevant advice areas, products and investment funds
• Managing a small team of other paraplanners
• Being involved with the training and development of other staff

The successful candidate will need to have proven experience working as a Paraplanner - preferably within an IFA environment with knowledge of Investment and Pension products. You will be Level 4 qualified, although Chartered candidates will be extremely welcome. You will be having excellent Microsoft and Excel skills solid communication and interpersonal skills.
