Assistant Accountant

Due to continued growth & expansion, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to take on the Assistant Accountant role & support the Dealership Accountant & General Manager to ensure the accounting function for the Dealership runs accurately & smoothly.

Responsibilities will include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Authorising intercompany reconciliations and payments
• Working with the Management Accountant to finalise monthly reports including profit forecasting preparation
• Preparing Accounts up to trial balancing

You must have a successful track record within an Accounts department, with knowledge and practical experience of:

• prepayments and accruals
• intercompany activities
• cashflow preparation
