My client, a B2B engineering specialist, is seeking a Sales Office Hire Desk Supervisor Manager with the ability to manage operations in a fast-paced environment and motivate a team to successfully fill all incoming quotations, while carrying out compliance and engineer scheduling procedures.

Due to the nature and demand of this role we do require candidates with at least one years experience working within a similar mobile engineering scheduler role, ideally with some geographical knowledge, scheduling diaries for multiple engineers, organising repairs, managing available parts to site and dealing with sub-contractors.

You will be a versatile, adaptable candidate with experience of a similar role, and you will have a collaborative management style and the ability to empower your team through continuous up-skilling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the fulfilment of all customer orders and installations

  • Ensure the team are maximising revenue from existing customer accounts

  • Support Field Service engineering team.

  • First point of contact for all existing customer enquiries you will ascertain any faults and diagnosis.

  • Update all calls with customers and engineers onto the internal systems accurately.

  • Order any parts for engineers; liaise with engineers for part specifics.
    Organise delivery of parts to site.

  • Allocate an appointment within the agreed SLA times which are varied with each customer.

  • Source the correct specialist engineer within location as you will be responsible for an area of the UK, managing the engineer diaries.

  • Ensure follow up calls with all customers to ensure all maintenance & works are completed satisfactory.

  • Hands-on customer support and management of the team workflow.

  • Manage team one2ones and staff records.

  • Implement incentives.

  • Manage HR records (i.e. approving holidays in accordance with the needs of the business, overtime and absence management)
