This is a fantastic opportunity to join a pioneering secondary school in Bridgend working as a science technician. The school has a great learning environment and Good facilities. This school works with pupils from the age of 11-18.

Your new role

In your new role working as a science technician, you will be supporting the school's science department. You will be storing chemicals and getting rid of waste safely. You will also be Setting up laboratory equipment safely, managing and ordering apparatus and chemicals for practical's and ensuring the classroom remains clean, tidy and a safe environment for everyone to work in. This role is starting ASAP on an on-going temporary basis with option to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be working Monday-Friday for up to 35 hours.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to apply for this role, you will need to have obtained a science degree, have experience of working as a science technician and ideally experience of working in schools. You also must be registered with the EWC or be willing to register and have satisfactory references we can obtain from you.
