Science Technician

Role as Science technician in a secondary school, working full time. Starting ASAP.

Your new school

Hays are currently working with a Great secondary school in the Vale of Glamorgan. They are currently looking for science technician to start ASAP. The school has excellent facilities and an outstanding learning environment. The school caters for up to 1200 pupils.

Your new role

In your new role as a science Technician you will be responsible for setting up laboratory equipment safely, managing and ordering apparatus and chemicals for practical's. you will also ensure the classroom remains clean, tidy and a safe environment for everyone to work in. you will be supporting the science department and making sure waste from the labs is disposed of safely. This role is starting ASAP on an on-going temporary basis with option to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be working Monday-Friday for up to 35 hours.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to apply for this role, you will need to have obtained a science degree, have experience of working as a science technician and ideally experience of working in schools. You also must be registered with the EWC or be willing to register and have satisfactory references we can obtain from you.
