Senior Block Manager

One Property Recruitment are seeking a Senior Block Manager for a leading leasehold managing agent in Manchester. You will be overseeing a flagship portfolio with an exciting new build element and mobilisation project. This position will suit someone coming from a strong block management background seeking the opportunity to progress within an ambitious and nurturing setting. You will enjoy the flexibility and work/life balance offered by client, working 2-3 days per week from home. The core duties of the position include-

• Managing a varied portfolio of leasehold developments across Manchester
• Regular inspections of the developments and remedying issues as needed
• Attending external meetings as required, acting as brand ambassador at all times
• Oversee major works projects
• Give direction to assistant block managers who are there to help you with management issues
• Set and manage the service charge budget for the portfolio
• Build effective and proactive relationships with all stakeholders

This opportunity will suit someone looking for progression whilst maintaining an effective work/life balance. You will be exposed to exciting projects within the sector and make the most of the dedicated H&S team, advising on all cladding issues. I am looking for someone with the following skillset/experience-

• Ideally AIRPM qualified as a minimum
• Strong Section 20 exposure
• Able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders
• Give direction to assistants within the team
