We have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Advisor to work on a trade counter for a business within the construction and roofing industry. The post holder will be providing customers with a knowledgeable, friendly and dependable service at the same time optimising branch sales and profit.

The successful candidate will be ensuring that they are working as part of a team so that our clients customers expectations are not met but exceeded. Within the role you be involved in building effective relationships with customers in order to understand their requirements and ensuring that the correct products are supplied.

Within the role you will be liaising with suppliers and other branches / departments where necessary along with using your initiative to identify sales opportunities and offer advice and solutions to customers.

Responsibilities / Skills required:

• Experience within an trader counter role previously
• Sales experience within the building or construction industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Build effective relationships with customers in order to understand their requirements and ensuring that the correct products are supplied
• Use initiative to identify sales opportunities and offer advice and solutions to customers
• Maintain a clean and efficiently merchandised counter area in line with Company policy
• Ensure that Company policies are followed at all times when producing paperwork associated with sales
• Happy to back office sales to clients

Salary / benefits:

Salary to GBP24,000 depending on experience

Working hours 7:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 7:30am to 11:30am
