The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day electrical and mechanical engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. The ideal candidate will come from an electrical or a mechanical engineering supervisory/management background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer but multi-skilled and have fast moving manufacturing experience. If you have worked PLC systems, lean manufacturing systems and PPM systems would be advantageous.

• Manage and lead all maintenance Operations, processes and manage a team of 3
• Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure all plant and equipment meets all current legislation and all relevant records and certificates are documented and filed, to include but not limited to electrical, steam and lifting equipment.
• Responsible for ensuring all staff within the department have the relevant training to perform
• their tasks.
• Create, implement, improve, and Manage maintenance procedures, alongside providing the
• most cost-effective solutions.
• Manage, oversee, and develop the maintenance schedule.
