This organisation is looking for an exceptional Assistant Retail Manager with great people skills to help lead their staff and volunteer team at the Conwy nature reserve. This charity is the UK's largest nature conservation charity and unlike other retail stores, 90% of their profit is spent on nature conservation, public education and advocacy.

Their Conwy nature reserve is located on the edge of Snowdonia National Park and attracts around 80,000 visitors a year. You will be working as part of a team not only to generate income for their important nature conservation work but to help ensure a fantastic visitor experience for everyone.
They are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager who will work with the Retail Manager to take their already performing store to the next level, maximising profits and enhancing their commercial success. You will have new ideas and the commitment to see them through to delivery.

They are looking for someone who knows retail inside out to work closely with the Retail Manager. You will have experience of selling, stock management, staff rotas, visual merchandising, planning, figures and budgets. You will be able to utilise retail software to analyse appropriate KPIs. Sales driven, with outstanding customer service skills, you'll lead by example. You will help galvanise the team to produce great results and get the best out of everyone around you.

You will be a dynamic individual who likes a challenge. They are looking for a talented hardworking individual to work closely with the Retail Manager and the Reserves staff to create a vibrant, retail environment at the Conwy reserve and put it at the heart of their visitor offer.

This is a permanent position (30 hours per week). You'll be required to work regular weekends and bank holidays.
