Assistant Facilities Manager

One Property Recruitment, a specialist within property, block and estate management, are currently searching for an assistant facilities manager, based in the Reading area. Our client is a residential management specialist with offices in multiple regions across the UK.

You will be supporting the facilities manager, based on a single site, working closely with a team which are in place to deliver the required service. A large proportion of this position will surround health and safety on-site and you will be responsible for overseeing the following;

• Shadowing on property inspections
• Being compliant with H&S legislation
• Ensuring appropriate signage is in place
• Completing Health & Safety Audits
• Co-ordinating contractors
• Updating relevant reports

This opportunity would suit someone who has exposure to facilities management is some capacity and is now looking to expand their skillset within this area, working directly under an experienced individual. I am looking for individuals with the following skillset;

• IOSH qualified or above
• Motivated to learn and develop
• Background in H&S (desirable)
• Excellent organisational ability
