This position is being advertised on behalf of Riverside Recruitment who operate as an employment business. We are looking to recruit a HR Co-Ordinator HR Advisor to work within a well-established business in Penrith.
Key Objective of the Role
To provide HR support and HR administration to the factory at Penrith and also administrative support and reporting to the UK HR team
The role offers the opportunity to develop a career in HR within a fast moving environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
" Deal with day to day HR queries from employees and managers at the Penrith site
" Co-ordinate and provide advise with employee relations issues including discipline, grievance, absence reviews
" Organise and co-ordinate occupational health referrals as required
" Provide HR administrative support to the local business including electronic filing and record management
" Keep up to date with changes to employment legislation to provide relevant guidance to managers
" Co-ordinate and carry out new starter inductions including right to work checks
" Work with the Plant Manager to identify headcount requirements and assist in preparing business cases for this
" Liaise with labour agency for the provision and management of temporary labour to support production operations as required.
" Update employee records
" Co-ordinate monthly submissions for payroll
" Provide administrative support to wider UK function including reporting for progress on annual initiatives including performance reviews, engagement surveys etc
Experience and Background Requirements
" Some prior experience working within a HR function
" Experience working with integrated HR systems (SuccessFactors preferred)
" Experience with Time and Attendance Systems (Kronos preferred)
" Excellent Excel skills
" CIPD Level 3 preferable and willing to work towards level 5
