Fibreglass Laminator

Our client is a family run business, specialising in the manufacture of silos, tanks and conveying systems. Supplying products to the agricultural, industrial and renewable energy industries. Their advanced manufacturing facility gives them the ability to produce the majority of their products on-site. They have over 60 years' manufacturing experience and pride themselves on the quality of their work.

A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for an experienced fibreglass laminator to join their team.

The Role

Working within a small team, you will be responsible for the production of silos and tanks ranging from 6 cubic metres to 100+ cubic metres.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Reading and understanding lay-up specifications
• Wet lay laminating / chopper gun spray application
• Mould preparation
• Release of simple moulds
• Use of hand tools
• Use of handheld power tools such as grinders and sanders
• Bond preparation
• Use and control of patterns and jigs
• Basic housekeeping duties
• Correct use of PPE
• Accountability for your own work

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years' experience working with resins and fibreglass, be technically minded and have the ability to learn new tasks and adapt to the role...... click apply for full job details
