Repairs Officer

About the role

As Repairs Officer you will receive, record and process both routine maintenance and day to day repairs requests from tenants by phone, email and face to face, using the electronic repairs system then provide relevant accurate and up to date information and advice on Rooftop services to tenants and colleagues. 

Scheduling appointments with tenants and issuing job tickets on reported repairs to contractors or internal inspectors, you will advise and notify tenants of re-chargeable works and record repairs logged. 

About you

Candidates will have proven experience of dealing with customer telephone queries and of updating databases and compiling information. With English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent, you will be able to grasp new areas of responsibility quickly.

Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with IT literacy – databases, Word, Excel, email and internet communications.

The Repairs Desk must be manned between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday, on a flexible rotational basis.
