Manpower are currently recruiting for an Experienced HR Administrator for a prestigious client based in Birmingham, to provide overall administration support to the HR Department to enable efficient delivery of high quality HR services across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
To maintain the HR Information System
Processing new starters forms and new employee records
Preparation and distribution of employee contracts
Maintaining and Updating employee records
Progress employee induction
Monitor and administer employee probationary reviews
Collation of Business Conduct returns
Administration of Reference Requests
Providing data reports, both monthly and on an ad hoc basis
Distribution of HR policies & paperwork to managers as and when requested
Assisting HR Team with the administration of employee relations matters
Absence monitoring and recording
Administration of leavers, including undertaking exit interviews
Supporting the HR Team with the administration and co-ordination of training
Administration of the company bonus scheme
Administration of Compliance E-Learning Database
Ensure that the work area is kept clean and tidy in accordance with company initiatives such as LEAN and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
Prepare MI reports for meetings, monthly recruitment updates and recruitment commentary.
Collaborate with line managers to build strong relationships, discuss recruitment needs and determine recruitment strategy on each position.
Utilise various sourcing methods such as a recruiting database, internet job boards, and direct sourcing to identify potential candidates.
Manage relationships with preferred suppliers and establish new supplier contracts as needed. This includes assisting with the management and review of PSL and supplier feedback and market intelligence gathering.
Assisting Managers to draft adverts in line with company standards.
Liaising with candidates including arranging interviews and providing feedback.
Maintaining the HRIS recruitment module.
Assisting with monthly reporting and monthly stats
Ensure job descriptions are in place for all authorised recruitment.
Ensure the internal vacancy list is circulated to all Service Centres on a weekly basis.
Ensure the equal opportunities policy is actively promoted and implemented.
Ensure that risks and hazards in activities undertaken in the role are acknowledged and conducted in accordance with processes, procedure and measures in place to mitigate risks
Be familiar with environmental aspects of activities undertaken in the role and the procedures and processes underpinning.
Any other duties commensurate with your skills, knowledge and experience.
Responsible for supporting Managers throughout the end to end recruitment processes ensuring that quality, cost and time targets are met.SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
Proven track record in Human Resources within a busy sometimes pressurised environment
Proven track record in Recruitment within a complex multi-site organisation
Experience of influencing managers to make the right hiring decision.
Experience of supplier negotiation, including management of a Preferred Supplier List
Customer focus, with demonstrable adaptability in approach to recruitment strategy.
Able to work on own initiative, be self motivated and disciplined
Strong recruitment background, preferably in an internal recruitment role.
Knowledge and experience of using Job Boards
Knowledge and experience of using a Recruitment/HR Information System
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge and experience in the principles of Recruitment, Interview and Selection.
Strong HR background, preferably in a HR Administration role
Knowledge and experience of using HR Information systems
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge and experience in the principles of Employment Law & Good HR practice
Good communication skills both oral and writtenIdeally we need someone who has a min of 2 years HR Admin experience who is level CIPD level 3 or as long as they have got strong HR Admin experience. we are looking for someone with strong HR Administration such as new starters/contracts with attention to detail and also someone who is very good at data and understands systems.
This is a 6 month temporary position with an immediate start paying upto GBP27k depending on experience
