Are you looking for a Managerial role with Sales order managment or Sales Operations? Are you looking for a company that will invest in your career and give you opportunities to develop? Computacenter are recruiting for a Sales Order Manager to play a lead role in driving end to end process efficiency and effectiveness to support a geographic expansion and drive for group standard processes. Responsible for the continuous improvement of the Sales Order Management team, leadership of the enterprise ordering and DNA teams.
This role will ensure high performance, productive and excellent operational customer service is delivered through excellent people management and consistent process execution
Role Specifications
- Collaborates with other teams to provide customers with outstanding service and to meet and exceed customers' expectations
- Strives for continuous process improvement aimed at shortening response times and maximising productivity
- Regular review of the process requirements for the order management team and development of suitable measures to manage and improve operational performance
- Responsibility for continuous efficiency improvement in the team
- Responsible for management of complex, cross-departmental special projects with long-term, strategic orientation
- Supports the drive towards development of use of group-wide - processes and tools
- Proactive avoidance of bottlenecks or overhangs in the team
- Identification and implementation of necessary measures to support continuous improvement
- Exemplary Computacenter values; integrity, self-responsibility, motivation and customer orientation
- Lead responsibility of supporting GTS projects
- Leading the move of complex accounts to standard operating model
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service and/or operational management
- Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities
- Able to apply a customer centric approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work in a demanding and rapidly changing environment
- Demonstrates an understanding of process ownership and governance principles
- Demonstrates understanding of interdependencies of processes and systems and people impact
- Working knowledge of "pain points" caused by lack of collaboration between processes, and proactively works to address
- Able to create valuable performance metrics and processes to capture data
- Good understanding of the impact that processes have on overall business objectives
- Willingness to travel
