QC Technician

Manucomm recruitment are currently seeking a QC Technician / Lab Technician / R&D Technician for a fast growing, privately owned company in the Bridgwater area. QC Technician / Lab Technician / R&D Technician Key responsibilities and duties involved:
??Carry out tasks in accordance with UFAS/ FEMAS/UKAS standards/ guidelines
??Perform testing on incoming raw materials and products in accordance to relevant documentation
??Carry out accredited UKAS activities in accordance to relevant documentation.
??Ensure all relevant documentation/ databases are maintained
??Alert supervisor of any abnormalities or potential trends.
??Support R&D projects and Technical staff
QC Technician / Lab Technician / R&D Technician Specific Job Skills:
??Minimum Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or other relevant discipline or equivalent qualification.
??Have working knowledge and familiarity with basic lab equipment and lab techniques.
??Excellent attention to detail
??Good computer and maths skills
??Work independently and with teams.
??Knowledge in microbiology and aseptic techniques is an advantage.
