We have avacancy for an Integration Developer/Engineer to join the Gregory Group Technology Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make your own within the business.

The position involves:

?? Developing and maintaining standard integration interfaces and applications which interact with an environment of multiple business systems, predominantly for Transport and Warehouse Management, using our middleware platforms (Biztalk) and supported programming languages (C#).

?? Building and maintaining robust and reliable web services for transactional exchange of data with customers and third-parties.

?? Building bespoke integrations mapped to our standard integration interfaces where customers or third-parties are unable to interface directly with our standards.

?? Developing and maintaining utilities and interfaces which interrogate internal and external APIs and data sources across various technologies including REST and SOAP - as well as carry out automated ETL processes.

?? Managing technology solutions for Managed File Transfer and Message Queuing for data transfer orchestration.

?? Carrying out solution design for integration which align with our organisational needs, meet defined requirements, and enable the group to deliver visionary logistics solutions.

?? Reviewing and produce estimates for change requests and project deliverables, prioritising work effectively with support from the wider team and the Business Analytics & Integration Manager.

?? Striving for improvements in system performance and reliability and recommending changes where appropriate to meet this objective.

?? Providing a responsive 3rd line support service for our integration services, working closely with our Technology Service Desk and Business Systems team.

?? Providing training to Technology Service Desk of integration services which enable them to provide effective 1st and 2nd line support directly.

?? Contributing to the planned roadmap for system changes and improvements.

?? Managing updates, patches and maintenance of integration system middleware including carrying out system testing of updates in both test and live environments.

?? Writing test scripts, executing tests and carrying out end-to-end testing of integration, including with customers and other third-parties.

Essential Skills or experience required:

?? Minimum 2-3 years' experience of software or integration development with capability in C# - at a minimum.

?? Highly proficient in managing data and databases in an MS SQL Server environment - with strong SQL and data manipulation skills.

?? Confident handling XML data and building ETL utilities / operating middleware around them.

?? Able to demonstrate ability to produce and document REST or SOAP APIs.

?? High-level of technical proficiency, IT aptitude and a general interest in technology, systems and software.

?? Critical thinking and analytical mindset to problem solving, excellent written and verbal communications skills.

?? The ability to influence internal and external customers & teams to deliver IT solutions.

?? Full UK Driving Licence as travel will be required for this role.

Desired Skills or experience required:

?? Experience of using Microsoft Biztalk Server or similar middleware platform.

?? Experience of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
