About the role


They are currently seeking a Planned Works Site Manager to supervise a multi-skilled workforce in the provision of planned maintenance (kitchens and bathrooms) and structural works across their property portfolio.


Your main responsibilities will include:

 

  • Managing the whole site works including monitoring subcontractors
  • Managing the health and safety of your team and any other persons that may be affected by works
  • Developing details project plans using appropriate tools such as Project Planner and Microsoft Excel
  • Monitoring the progress of projects to ensure they meet all planned deadlines
  • Working closely with the Customer Liaison Officer to ensure that customers are kept informed of deadlines and progress
  • Monitoring costs (time, materials and subcontractors) 


About you


The ideal candidate will have:

 

  • Experience of working in the housing repair / maintenance sector
  • Completed a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent and / or minimum of NVQ
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise
  • The ability to diagnose maintenance issues and identify solutions
  • The ability to accurately follow / identify maintenance and improvement works from work instructions and technical drawings and plans
  • Experience of working within a social housing / local authority environment (desirable)
  • Experience of empty homes property repairs and of supervising multi trade disciplines (desirable)
  • Knowledge of schedule of rates systems (desirable)
