About the role
As Senior you will be responsible for the supervision of a team of Changing Futures Coordinators who are delivering employment programmes to groups and individuals within their location. The Senior Coordinator monitors performance of the team against objectives and key targets, maintains quality of programme delivery, ensures consistency and provides leadership, guidance and support.
* Support the Changing Futures programme to achieve positive employment, training and volunteering outcomes for disabled people in line with KPIs
* Supervise Changing Futures Team to increase our reach and meet key participant and volunteer targets and objectives. Work with the Insight team to effectively measure programme impact
* Support work to expand the programme and work with the fundraising team to secure funding to support the future growth and sustainability of Changing Futures
* Work with the Community Engagement Manager to recruit, induct and train staff within agreed timeframes. Organise regular Programme Coordinator Team Meetings/Conference calls to facilitate networking and communication within the team.
* Attend Management Meetings regularly to contribute towards consistent and high quality delivery nationally
About you
* Support Senior Managers in the preparation of internal and external donor reports
* Support donor relationship management and new business activity, e.g. coordinating visits and events.
* To work within and comply with all LC policies and procedures including GDPR, Safeguarding, Code of Conduct and Equality of Opportunity.
* To organise and present at external meetings, including promotional and networking events
* To work with LCD's internal and external communications' teams to promote the Changing Futures programme, particularly the Marketing team.
* To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested
* Prior experience of data entry and an understanding of databases and experience of writing or developing funding applications and/or tenders and supporting the application process.
* To have a genuine commitment to the values and ethos of Leonard Cheshire
* The ability to travel within a designated area
* Project Management skills, the ability to set up, coordinate programmes to agreed outcomes, timescales, targets and within budget.
* Excellent Administrative Skills
