You’ll be a highly skilled technical officer that can deliver from day one. They’ll look to you to provide a full range of technical support services in relation to the maintenance of their property stock and to ensure the delivery of an efficient & effective repairs and maintenance service.

You’ll be supporting their Repairs and Maintenance team with a wide range of processes. You’ll carry out the scoping, specification/scheduling and management of repair and refurbishment projects ensuring that work is delivered to the highest quality, within agreed budgets and timescales. You’ll be undertaking pre, interim and post quality assurance inspections to works delivered by both internal teams and external contractors ensuring that a high standard is maintained at all times. You’ll also manage external contractors to ensure maintenance work is carried out in accordance with contract specifications and programmes and support the team on responsive repairs, voids and refurbishment works.

They’re looking for someone with extensive experience of operating within a technical support/surveying team with up to date knowledge of appropriate maintenance related, technical and H&S legislation. You’ll need to be qualified to minimum HNC / HND in Building Studies or Construction or equivalent with a good knowledge of IT systems including housing management systems. You’ll also be highly numerate and IT literate with knowledge of appropriate systems with the ability to extract and interpret computerised information and documentation.
