Security Coordinator - Insider Threats
Would you like to play a key role within Insider Threats, analysing business, internal risk, malicious acts, secrets, sabotage, and terrorism? We currently have a vacancy for a Security Coordinator - Insider Threats at our site in Barrow-in-Furness.
As a Security Coordinator- Insider Threats, you will be working in a people-based role, taking relevant information from a wide range of sources. Analysing, developing and delivering information in conjunction with internal stakeholders and external partner to manage risk.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work in a brand-new role within the wider security department, where there is the potential to shape and deliver new strategy and gain valuable career development experience in a high tempo and agile role.
Your main responsibilities as a Security Coordinator - Insider Threats will involve:
Delivering focused, proportional, independent, lawful intelligence gathering, meeting all legislative and regulatory requirements, in support of insider threat risk mitigation, across all Products and Programmes
Supporting the early identification of risk from Insider Threat and its impact on Security Risk Management, by joint working with relevant internal and external stakeholders
Developing and delivering intelligence requirements and intelligence collection plans
Researching and harvesting appropriate information across all relevant systems
Maintaining and developing the investigation management tool by ensuring timely and mature record keeping
Identifying investigative opportunities to the Senior Security Advisor
Supporting the Insider Threat Working Group by collating relevant information on emerging or existing trends and hotspots impacting on business risk
Supporting investigations and intelligence team function by conducting appropriate tasks and producing high quality reports
Driving intelligence-gathering opportunities through appropriate use of social media and open source
Attending relevant meetings on or offsite to develop and maintain good stakeholder relations
Raising security awareness through being a security role model
Your skills and qualifications:
Essential:
Demonstrable industry (or relevant occupation) experience in delivering key intelligence products
Key functions and frameworks in delivering an insider threat strategy
Understanding of legislation and experience of working in a regulated industry
Desirable:
Working towards entry level Security qualification from a certified body, where relevant
Knowledge of relevant internal and external stakeholders, and their value in the early identification of insider threat
Demonstrable experience in security risk management
