Trainer / Assessor - Clinical Health - Hertfordshire / Cambridgeshire areas - GBP-negotiable
We are pleased to be recruiting for Steadfast Vocational Training, a national training provider that delivers first class skills, employability and training solutions.
From their Head Office in Lincolnshire, their training services cover the North East, East of England, East Midlands and Greater London.
We are looking for a qualified Field Based Trainer to join our client's expanding team to cover the Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Essex locations.
In a nutshell:
You will deliver work-based qualifications (frameworks) to learners within their workplaces, to maintain a high quality of delivery within timescales and ensure that all learners are successful in their learning programmes by their planned end dates.
You will ensure that the company delivers on its contracts and that government financial targets are met through the successful completion on time of learners.

Key responsibilities as the Clinical Trainer (Clinical Health) will include:
* Monitoring the quality of assessment practice on Clinical, Health & Social Care qualifications including Functional Skills qualifications against the requirements set by the awarding organisations
* Monitoring targets for achievement to ensure timely and overall achievement of the qualifications
* Contributing to the improvement of assessment practice to ensure that the organisation can meet the Ofsted requirements for the Education Inspection Framework (EIF)
* Enabling learner's successful and timely achievement of qualifications through the effective management of an allocated caseload in line with company guidelines
* Ensuring sponsoring employers fully understand their responsibilities in support of successful completion of programmes to the required standards
* Satisfying all the required standards in the delivery and documentation of the contracts, with particular regard to efficiency, quality and compliance
* Checking that all learners are thoroughly checked in regard to plagiarism
* Producing training materials, manual and documentation are required
* Utilising innovative training methods to include e-learning and other emerging technologies to effectively deliver and monitor training

What we're looking for:
* Previous experience of Internal Quality Assurance re Work and work-based learning (minimum 2years)
* H&SC up to L5 or equivalent
* Clinical - Healthcare up to L3 or equivalent
* English and Maths Functional Skills qualifications at Level 2 or above
* Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice, or equivalent V1 or D34 qualification
* Current working knowledge and experience of best practice in assessment/quality assurance
* Effective communication, organisation and planning skills
* A detailed understanding of the current apprenticeship reforms
* Good knowledge of Awarding Bodies
* Good knowledge of safeguarding requirements and processes
* An in-depth knowledge of Further Education and government funded training
* Occupationally competent in Supporting Teaching & Learning
* Excellent coaching skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Highly IT literate
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Able to positively engage, motivate and influence others
* Own transport and an up-to-date licence
* High levels of personal motivation, energy and determination
