Application Delivery Engineer, Hertfordshire/Northamptonshire, 3 months contract, negotiable rate
My prestigious Clint is looking for Application Delivery Engineer to join their growing team.
Role purpose:
You would join Trade and Digital Delivery team to resolve issues and ensure the smooth operation of company's core trade and digital applications.
Key responsibilities:
Improving processes through automation, innovation and continuous improvement.
Respond to production incidents and drive recovery and mitigation.
Maintaining and updating technical documents, preparing maintenance plans and triaging incidents and requests raised within the IT Service Management tool.
Skills and experience required:
Experience of working with K8 (Kerridge Commercial Sytems) EPOS systems essential
Knowledge of Report Generator and DX Module
Good understanding of database design, programming (SQL) and query optimisation.
Good understanding of Scrum and/or Kanban.
This role requires working on shifts and includes on-call responsibilities.
