Our Client based in Gloucestershire is looking for a Commissioning Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This role will be working along side the Commissioning Manager and the candidate will be required to audit, evaluate and undertake business planning & sustainable forecasting.

This role include:
??Working under the direction of commissioning managers to support lead commissioners and outcome managers to ensure the commissioning of services to meet customer needs.
??Supporting outcome managers and lead commissioners to ensure quality, customer informed and value for money decisions are made about commissioning and decommissioning of services.
??Providing advice, evidence and research which support commissioning decisions including analysis of market development trends.
??Supporting customer engagement processes to help inform commissioning decisions.
??Providing support for procurement and commissioning exercises
??Drafting and compiling specifications which are consistent with commissioning/procurement guidance and legislation.
??Leading and undertaking project work .
??Providing sufficient and relevant written and verbal updates including anticipated impact and risk assessment.
??Supporting the provision of value for money and return on investment information and analysis.

The ideal candidate will:
??Have experience working in a commissioning environment
??Have experience building and maintaining productive relationships, including those with stakeholders & partners.
??Have knowledge of procurement and commissioning legislation, policy and processes
??Have proven project support skills and experience of working to tight, pressurised deadlines.
??Have good written and verbal communication skills
??Have experience in a customer focussed environment and able to communicate appropriately with customers and members of the public.
??Be organised and able to meet deadlines.
??have had Involvement and experience supporting a range of projects including planning and reporting, including working on sensitive projects.
??Will be resilient, working in difficult circumstances
??Have a great eye for detail, be creative and capable with applications such as power point and excel
??Have the drive to learn new skills and the ability to work with a number of different sites.
??Must have experience of project management.

This role will be working from home although candidates will have to go into the office once or twice a week & an induction will also be held at the office.
