Retail/Sales Manager

Hammonds, UK's largest choice of fitted furniture company requires a concession Retail/Sales Manager to join their team, working 37 hours per week on a permanent contract based in Glasgow. We are offering a salary of GBP8.72 - GBP10 per hour (depending on store performance)plus benefits, commissions and incentives. Weekend working will be required.

Hammonds now have 100 showrooms nationwide and continue to grow, which means we need more people like you to help promote our top quality fitted bedroom furniture from our concessionwithin Forrest Furnishing Store, Glasgow.

We believe in offering every customer the same superior quality of products and services and due to our ongoing commitment to our customers we are seeking a naturally engaging Retail/Sales Manager who has no fear of striking up a welcoming conversation with a passer-by in store and to search for their undiscovered needs. Indeed, to do this effectively, you'll relish this part of the job by suggesting how Hammonds could transform their bedroom space and design.

Having whetted the customers' appetite of how their new bedroom could look, your role as a Retail/Sales Manager is to book an appointment for our expert Sales Designer to visit them at home, who will look and create innovative and inspiring designs that meet and exceed the customers' expectations.

If you have sales supervisory experience, ideally in a retail / demonstrator environment, this is an ideal opportunity to move up and manage your own Hammonds concession. The Retail/Sales Manager is a hands-on, leading by example position - approaching customer's in-store and engaging them in what our high quality fitted bedrooms can bring to their life and lifestyle. Managing a small team, your focus will be to ensure they are equally engaging and professional in approach, so that your concession meets its targets.

In return for your passion, commitment, drive and performance as Hammonds Retail/Sales Manager we offer on top of the hourly rate, attractive commissions such as up to an additional GBP10 per appointment you make, plus some enticing incentives!

You may be currently working as a Sales Manager, Store Manager, Concession Manager, Assistant Manager, etc.

Glasgow is commutable from Rutherglen, Cambuslang, Paisley, Bishop Briggs, Hamilton, East Kilbride, Kilsyth, Port Glasgow and surrounding areas.
