Serving a variety of sectors, our client is an award-winning provider of innovative packaging solutions. Due to retirement, they are now looking for a Customer Service Administrator, working alongside an Account Manager, to provide sales support working to the Sales Team.

The Role

As a Customer Service Administrator, you will ensure the successful fulfilment of orders, from initial customer contact through to despatch, and deliver an exceptional level of service to customers.

This is a hands-on role that will see you liaising with teams across the business to ensure that customers’ needs are met. You’ll act as the key point of contact for customer enquiries and orders and will continually improve planning and office systems to meet customer demand.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining strong communication across departments
- Recording all incoming sales
- Raising purchase orders
- Tracking orders from first point of contact, through the factory to despatch
- Managing business on time in full performance
- Providing customers with confirmations and updates
- Developing great customer relationships and first class customer responses through proactive planning
- Providing an internal link between the sales and operational requirements

About You

To join our client as their Customer Service Administrator, you will need:

- Sales administration and/or order processing experience, gained in a manufacturing /production or print environment
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience of using a CRM management system
- Confidence when speaking to customers
- A strong team player mentality
- To be forward thinking with the ability to foresee potential problems and implement solutions
- To be highly organised, detail conscious and proactive
- Good communication skills

The successful candidate will need to live within easy commuting distance of Southend on Sea or be willing to relocate.

This is a demanding role, with core hours of 9:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday which can be flexed if required.
