We’re looking for individuals with the drive and ambition to really make an impact within our North West and North East/Yorkshire Derbyshire Regions. Someone who is decisive and capable of handling tricky situations with diplomacy and tact, whilst also having the confidence to provide advice in a constructive and intelligent way.You’ll lead, motivate and develop the team to deliver outstanding customer service and market making independent living services.

You will be responsible for providing and managing a high standard of operational management and have the ability to be a strategic thinker, whilst ensuring the effective delivery of an outstanding service to our residents across all tenures.

Motivating and supporting colleagues to deliver high quality customer orientated services, you will provide overall direction for your team, ensuring core operational standards, targets and objectives are achieved.You will promote and represent Johnnie Johnson Housing through engagement with external stakeholders and support front-line colleagues including guiding them through statutory responsibilities in the areas relating to risk and compliance.

About you

This role demands a highly creative and tenacious individual who has proven leadership experience, gained within a housing or related organisation. Organised and self-motivated, you will have good working knowledge of housing legislation and practice across different tenures and have experience of managing effective customer driven services. Capable of encouraging and implementing innovation, you will be confident negotiating with key stakeholders to ensure the future success of the organisation and promote a co-operative team approach, working cross-functionally to handle workloads and overcome difficulties.

With a keen understanding of Health and Safety requirements, you will have experience of setting and managing budgets, report writing and managing targets whilst working in partnership with a range of statutory, voluntary agencies and the business community.
