Our client is looking to recruit a Goods in Administrator to join their busy team on a Permanent basis. Experience within a construction environment would be advantageous but not essential.

This is a very busy and fast paced role and would ideally suit someone who isn't afraid of hard work and has an exceptional eye for detail. Strong administration skills are a must!

Role

Key duties for this Office/Yard based role, working directly for the Purchasing Manager will include the following;

To carry out Goods Inward inspection of parts entering the company from the companies supply chain. Ensuring that these correspond to the paperwork supplied and the company purchase order. This may be one off items or full containers of product.
Confirming this paperwork with the Purchasing Manager and resolving any anomalies.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager regularly on the assigned tasks, highlighting any issues as they arise.
Maintenance of supply schedules to provide up to date information to both the sales and purchasing teams.
Inputting Data onto Sage 200 system.
Supporting the Purchasing team with general operations to help reach the team's objectives, including taking calls and relaying messages to the team.
Helping to cover holidays for colleagues within the team, by understanding the key features of their roles.
Invoicing suppliers for valid warranty claims.
General administration and other ad hoc support for the purchasing department.

The following qualities and experience will be required to thrive and develop within this role;

Must be detail oriented, with strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Hard working and focused person, a team player, with a willingness to succeed.
Excellent communication skills and a regard for high service levels from the supply chain.
Polite, courteous and confidential with suppliers and colleagues.
