Associate Lecturer – Art & Design
Salary: £25.01 per hour plus excellent benefits
Hours: Variable Hours
Contract Type: Permanent
Associate lecturers are used for cover and ad-hoc work and/or regular hours within the faculty. However, regular hours are not guaranteed with this role.
We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of the arts and a passion for sharing this.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the successful and friendly Faculty of Art & Design. Successful applicants are likely to have had experience of working with a range of learners with varied educational backgrounds, and must be committed to outstanding teaching and learning.
We are seeking a forward-thinking and highly motivated Lecturer to teach art across our programmes, assist with curriculum development, market and promote courses.
You will be able to demonstrate recent experience of teaching at a post compulsory level, have industry experience or hold a relevant degree. Up to date knowledge of contemporary arts practice is essential. We are also looking for someone with a teaching qualification.
A flexible approach and excellent organisational/ interpersonal skills are required. A sound communicator, your administrative skills will be strong along with good problem solving skills. You will be an effective team player able to develop and disseminate best practise within the team and faculty.
