Forklift Truck Driver

We are now recruiting Forklift Drivers (Counterbalance and Reach) for our client based in Leamington Spa. You will be working for a UK leading manufacturer of headliners for automotive vehicles.
You will be part of the logistics team, ensuring relevant stock is on the production line in order to meet production targets. It is a fast-paced environment and you will be working in small teams, taking responsibility for your own work and that of the team, to ensure minimal damage and downtime.
As a Forklift Driver, your duties will include:
- Loading and unloading vehicles - Goods in/out.
- Working in the yard dealing with recycling of waste products.
- Movement of large stillages.
- Emptying large bins.
- Working with Fibreglass, brown paper, foam & glue products.
- Working to minimise scrap and wasted product by taking pride and maintaining a conscientious attitude towards work.
- Completion of paperwork throughout the process.
You will be working a Night Shift: Sunday Night: 21:00-06:00, Monday-Wednesday Night: 20:00-06:00.
The successful Forklift Driver will have the following:
- Previous experience of working within a production or manufacturing environment (automotive advantageous).
- Able to work to company process following specifications and training.
- Have a high standard of Health & Safety for yourself and those around you.
- Understand written and verbal instructions.
- Willing to communicate well with fellow colleagues and team leaders.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
