Here at Recon Services, we are now looking for an experienced, reliable Class 1 day driver who is looking for ongoing work.
Drivers are the face of our client, so it is about ensuring you deliver a great impression to the customers, not just the goods! It is about making the right impression with your professional attitude, appearance, and the look of your vehicle.
As a professional driver, you are responsible for:
Ensuring the load is delivered in excellent condition
Completing all paperwork correctly and, above all, leaving our customers and road users with a positive impression of you and of our client.
Typical start times are 6am. Shifts varying between 8 - 10 hours.
It is multidrop work delivering palletised goods.
It is ongoing work with the potential for it to become temp to perm.
Key Driver Requirements
Current CPC holder & medical certificate
Compliant with Health and Safety standards
Literate & numerate with good attention to detail
Excellent spoken communication ability
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
Have good eyesight / corrected vision
Ability to work under pressure, unsupervised and with a flexible work ethic
The Pay (LTD)
Monday to Friday - GBP12 per hour days
The Pay (PAYE)
Monday to Friday - GBP11 per hour days
