The Role:Reporting to the regional sales manager the CAD technician & specification coordinator will produce customer order specifications as a support to Sales Designers (SDs) and in line with company processes and standards.
Job Description:- Taking design briefs from the sales designer to finalise:
- CAD Plans, Elevations and Images
- EQ Quotations
- Appliance technical drawings
- Bespoke item (Z3) drawings and costings
- Compiling full Customer Order Confirmation packs for SD approval in a timely manner.
- Making amendments to packs pre-customer signature as directed by the SD
- Ensuring quality of order submission is consistent with company requirements
- Monitoring the Order-book and Specification Forecasts to manage workload and SD/Customer expectations.
- Providing feedback to SD, RSM and Training Department.
- Providing cover in absence of the Sales Designer.
- Monitoring & re-order stationery and brochures.
- Manage the cleaning and maintenance of the showroom.
- Ensure showroom displays are tidy and operational.
Other duties include:

- Answering the phone.
- Handling brochure requests.
- Preparing Job Files.
- Ensuring all job files contain signed contracts.
- Signed order confirmation
- Signed specification and all drawings
- Providing assistance to enter quotations onto E-Q and ensuring that the data has been checked.
- Banking cheques.
- Ensuring that all purchase orders, including furniture specifications, are properly prepared and checked.
- Filing paperwork.
- Handling post - incoming & outgoing.
- Ideally you will have previous experience in Kitchen sales/CAD support or a comparable role.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate in producing information.
- Ability to prioritise work, be highly organised and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to read, interpret and produce ArtiCAD plans.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to think on your feet and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Able to influence others when necessary.
