Our Client is a market leader in the Transport industry who are currently in the process of massively over hauling their IT and as a result are looking to bring on board an experienced and well skilled Senior IT Network Engineer. We need someone who is comfortable getting their hands dirty working with Cisco Switches, Firewalls and routers within a Large Enterprise level WAN environment, alongside basic level VMWare and Windows Server

Acting as a senior point of contact for all Network Related issues
Working hand in hand with Architects to help with the design of upcoming network related projects
Hands on project work within a large enterprise scale WAN Environment
Hands on work with Cisco; Switches, Firewalls and Routers
Working closely with the wider Infrastructure team to ensure the smooth delivery of all projects; including some hands on involvement with Windows Server, VMWare and Azure
Comfortable communicating with more junior members or non technical individuals in an easy to understand and less technical way. Profile
Up to date certifications in CCNA and CCNP are essential to this role
Hands on experience with Cisco networking devices including Switches, Firewalls, and Routers.
Comfortable communicating design ideas with Senior level architects
Experience within a project and BAU based role
Experience within a large enterprise scale WAN environment
Experience with Windows Server is ideal but not essential
Experience with VMWare is preferred but not essential
Experience with Azure is preferred but not essentialJob Offer
