Synopsis:                               Due to the continued success of our business we currently have a vacancy in our Underwriting Team. This is an opportunity to become a key addition of a highly reputable mortgage lender based in the South West.

Key Attributes:   

• Previous underwriting experience in a finance and property related business preferred (will consider an individual who can demonstrate potential)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work within a small team and on own initiative;
• Excellent organisation skills;
• Good knowledge of IT systems and ability to adopt risk policy and lending criteria;

Job role:

• Reviewing property based finance applications
• Supporting existing Underwriting team on lending and case processing;
• Liaising with mortgage brokers, property surveyors and solicitors
• Reporting to CEO and Board level as required;
