Their Tenancy Involvement and Sustainment team is growing, and they are excited to be recruiting for two Tenancy Sustainment Officers.

The Role

Their Tenancy Sustainment Officers will provide housing-related support services to enable tenants requiring support to maintain their tenancies. Working in partnership with local authorities and partner agencies, you will work with some of their most vulnerable households to ensure they are able to manage their tenancies, whilst delivering a customer-centric service to positively impact the communities they live in.

The Tenancy Sustainment Officers will work collaboratively with internal and external partners, with a focus on supporting tenancy sustainment, employment, training and volunteering opportunities.

About You

With the goal of supporting their tenants in maintaining their tenancies independently, it is essential you can identify new opportunities to successfully engage with people across a wide range of backgrounds.

You will have knowledge and understanding of their client group and previous experience of working in a customer facing environment and of providing support services. You will have excellent communications skills, experience of producing written reports and the ability to prioritise your own workload. You will also demonstrate self-motivation and resilience in dealing with Service Users.

The Tenancy Sustainment Officers will ideally have a knowledge of:

  • Statutory and voluntary sector sustainment agencies
  • Available funding from charitable organisations

Due to the nature of this role you will be required to hold a full driving licence.
