Curdridge, Hampshire

£32,000 - £35,000

Fixed term contract for 15 months

Do you want to create a wilder Hampshire and Isle of Wight?

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts working across the UK. With the invaluable support of volunteers and members we manage over 50 nature reserves. We also work with other organisations and landowners to protect and connect wildlife sites across the county and inspire local communities and young people to care for wildlife where they live.

Wildlife is in freefall both locally and nationally and, in order to get nature on the road to recovery, we need everyone to take action!

The role:

We are currently looking for a self motivated, experienced and capable IT Project (Development) Coordinator to join us for a fixed term contract for 15 months.  This role will ensure that our IT Projects are developed and implemented on time and to budget, in order to enable our Trust to drive forward its ambitious Wilder 2030 Strategy.

This management level role has been created to bring development and implementation capacity into the Facilities & IT function of the Trust. You will be the lead in the coordination and implementation of our IT projects. As part of the Business Resources Team, your focus will be on developing and implementing a new CRM software as a trust wide solution but concentrating on membership and fundraising first.  You will also work with our new finance software and assist the Facilities Coordinator with the implementation of Microsoft 365 across the Trust.

This is a great opportunity to work across all teams and use your skills to develop business systems that streamline a forward looking, innovative charity whilst working in a beautiful area of the country.

About you:

The successful candidate will possess the following;

  • A proven track record of success in a similar role and the skills to deliver real impact.
  • A project management and/or relevant IT qualification.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of organisation wide solutions, with either a finance or CRM solution being an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge and development experience of Microsoft Office 365, and of leading and implementing change initiatives.
  • An understanding of business intelligence and software integration.
  • Good financial management and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build good working relationships.

An understanding of the charity sector would be an advantage.  As would a passion for nature and environmental issues.

This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in a rewarding job in one of the most beautiful areas of the country.
