Position: Vehicle Fitter
Shift: Days - Start times can vary (12 week Temp to Perm)
Pay: GBP8.72 rising to GBP9.69 after probation. Time & Attendance bonus paid quarterly in addition.
Environment: Clean and well thought out production environment. Very COVID safe and conscious.
I'm currently recruiting for a Vehicle Fitter to work with a leading manufacturer of specialist commercial vehicles. As a Vehicle Fitter you be responsible for assisting with the build of a vehicle from the ground up.
Commutable from: Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Worcester, Redditch
Duties:
* Supporting the Works Manager.
* Ideally ability to read drawings in order to apply fittings and fixtures appropriately.
* Ability to use power and hand tools effectively.
* Ideally experience in automotive maintenance/production.
* Support sub contractors with subsidiary work such as fitting cameras/livery etc.
* Use of the purchasing and stores system to complete work requirements.
* Identify equipment issues and advise on work needed and opportunities for improvement.
* Assisting with with Goods In/ Goods Out when required.
* Assisting with vehicle testing and inspection.
The successful candidate for the Vehicle Fitter position will have the following experience:
* Vehicle maintenance/build experience
* Comfortable using power and hand tools.
* Conscientious and thoughtful approach to projects
