At Yorhealth we provide nurse-led care for children and young adults with complex medical care needs throughout Yorkshire. We are CQC registered and fully insured to provide care in family homes and their local community. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Care is overseen by our Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist Team and supported by trained Children's Clinical Complex Support Workers.

Recent growth means that we now provide around 1200 hours of care each week covering the Yorkshire region and we are now ready to grow our provision further.

We are looking to recruit three full time Children's Clinical Complex Support Workers to cover the night and day shifts for one of our Children and their Family in the Northallerton area.

In brief the role of the Children's Clinical Complex Support Worker will be to work alongside both the Clinical Nurse Specialists and the Families to assess, plan and to ensure the safe delivery of care to enable the children and young people to live their lives at home. You will meet both the clinical and the developmental needs of the Child and their Family. You will assist the Senior Nursing team in delivering and assessing care as well as working independently to meet the needs of the family that you will be working with.

Current Clinical Competence in the follo wing is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided:

• Administration of Medicines including controlled medications.
• Enteral Feeding, care and management of PEG and JEJ
• Moving and Handling including hoist experience.
• Level 3 Safeguarding Children and Young Adults
• Infection Prevention
• Clinical Governance
• Recognition and assessment of a deteriorating child.
• O2 administration and Pulse oximetry
• Tracheostomy Care and Management
• Domiciliary Ventilation
• BLS

Valid Driving License and access to vehicle.

Understanding of the developmental and educational needs of pre-school children.
