JOB TITLE: Permanent Nursery Manager
LOCATION: South East London/Croydon - South Norwood (SE25)
TYPE OF ROLE: Full Time - Permanent
HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours a week - 4 Days a week Shifts are 7:30am to 6pm
SALARY: GBP27,000 to GBP30,000
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Part of an award-winning nursery group with over 30 years' experience. Open Mon-Fri 51 weeks a year. Closed for Bank Holidays and during Christmas week. Capacity of 50 children.
THE ROLE & BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
* To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
* To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
* To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times
* To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends
* To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels
* To implement an effective parent liaison program, to be influential in developing strong links with parents
* To manage all day to day operations of the nursery
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* A manager that has experience of running at least a 40 - place nursery with minimum Ofsted Good rated
* Have at least two recent years' experience at once setting
* Live within a 30-minute commute
* Be able to complete shifts that are 7:30am to 6:00pm
* The successful candidate must have a proven track record in Nursery Management and with strong leadership skills
* Be qualified minimum Level 3 in Childcare
