Air Conditioning Engineer

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join an independent Air Conditioning Company due to new business resulting in an increase of long-term workload. The applicant should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the HVAC trade and be willing to cover clients in Central & Greater London. This is a varied role but there will be a focus on installation work with the ability of the successful candidate to manage the install process.
Key Responsibilities: • Carrying out PPM, annual service checks, fault diagnosis & system repairs • Carrying out site surveys, completing reports and installation work • Ensuring all appropriate technical & compliance paperwork is completed as appropriate
Experience Must have experience working on air conditioning such as Splits (Single, Twin & Multi's), along with VRV/VRF units (Daikin, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, etc). The applicant should be happy to carry out routine maintenance tasks, while having the fault-finding skills to react to breakdown calls. To have good working knowledge of safe working practices in relation to 3-phase and single-phase electrics and applications and to adhere to these. To have worked at heights and in confined spaces. There may be occasional weekend and out of hours work and candidates should be willing to work these if asked.

Requirements • Full UK Driving Licence • Eligible to work in the UK An engineer who lives within or close to the M25 area • NVQ or C&G in Refrigeration (Preferred) • F-Gas Category 1 (Essential) • City & Guilds 5831 Electrical Safe Isolation - Desirable not essential • Current DBS (or be prepared to have this checking) • Product Courses/Training - This would ideally be with Panasonic/Daikin systems
