Senior Cloud Engineer

Location: Nottingham (Fully remote currently, 3 days a week remote post-COVID)
Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP60,000 + 10-15% Bonus

There's certainly no shortage of positions within Cloud Engineering and DevOps at the moment, you've probably scrolled past a dozen of them to get to this ad!

With the technology seeing a massive surge of interest over the last few years, everyone is crying out for the heroes who can implement solutions that us mere mortals could never hope to understand.

But why would you join this company in particular?

Well, apart from amazing benefits, a competitive salary (up to GBP60,000 per year), and a level of support, progression, and development that is basically unmatched by all others in their market, they can offer you the one thing that really counts: the chance to create something truly unique!

With a brand that extends across the globe, it would be fair to say that this is the company that provides the FinTech solutions that power everything else when it comes to FinTech. They create solutions that power the way the entire western world views finance.

You'd be joining a team of around a dozen platform engineers, helping to mentor the more junior guys and working closely with your senior colleagues to guide the deployment of complex cloud systems.

Although you'd be mainly working with AWS, they're a multi-cloud organisation so you would get exposure to Azure, GCP and perhaps Alibaba along the way. Alongside your skills with AWS, you'll ideally be quite confident working with Terraform and Python in particular.

They're a big organisation, so this may not be the best place for people who want to shy away or hide in the corner. You don't have to be the life of the party, but if you're comfortable in your own skin and don't mind mucking in and explaining things to stakeholders from time to time, you'll be just fine.

There's no ridiculously long list of requirements in order to ensure you're successful, and I'm happy to have a chat about the finer details (I've rambled on already???)

If you'd like to know more, pop your CV over and let's have a chat. It'd be nice to hear from you...... click apply for full job details
