Senior .Net Developer

A Senior .Net Developer with the latest technical knowhow in MVC technologies is required by our client on the Buckinghamshire / Oxfordshire borders. A salary of up to GBP50k basic is available.

The .Net Developer will have multiple years of demonstrable experience of working as a full-stack developer within the Microsoft Visual Studio / Web Development Technical Stack.

The ideal candidate would be someone using the very latest ASP.NET / MVC technologies, with a thorough understanding of all development tiers from front end (HTML / CSS / Javascript), through to middle-tier business layer programming using object orientated C#, through to a sound understanding of MS SQL Server, T-SQL, and relational database modelling.

The .Net Developer with have strong front-end development and a good eye for realising design. You will be able to manage and deliver a mixture of new projects as well as collaborate with the development team on upgrades to existing web applications.

The successful applicant will work on specialist Digital Media platforms utilsing the Umbraco Content Management solution, so experience of this will be a significant benefit, but training can be provided.

Required Skills

- Strong ASP.NET / MVC with C#

- Good experience in a web agency working on HTML / CSS / Sass / Less / JavaScript and / or jQuery

- Strong MS SQL Server database skills

- Good knowledge of AJAX and JSON

The team work in both agile and waterfall methodologies depending on the client and the project's requirements, using Daily Stand Up's and Jira based Project Management.

The successful applicant should therefore be happy to travel to the office at least 2 days per week and must have an adequate home office / working environment in order to productively work for the remaining 3 days of the week.
